Amalfi Coast with Lemons

Lemon vines are abundant in the Amalfi coast area, partly due to the southerly exposure. The lemons are unique to this part of Europe. They are known as "sfusato Amalfitano," recognizable by their long, tapered form. They are prized for use in cooking, since they produce 25 percent of their volume in juice.
