Cadet Chapel, West Point

The chapel, designed by architect Bertram Goodhue, was completed in 1910, in the Gothic Revival style.

The stained-glass windows show images of religious as well as military themes.

The chapel also has the largest chapel pipe organ in the world, with over 23,000 pipes. In order to prepare the organ for recitals, the curator begins tuning weeks in advance.

To announce lunch and dinner formations at West Point, cadet climbs the stairs to ring the bells.
